Dayton Marketing Director :  Alpha Media Dayton
Alpha Media-Dayton is looking for a full-time Director of Marketing to be located in our Dayton, Ohio office. We operate five great radio stations in Dayton and are a part of the Alpha Media USA family that owns and operates 135 stations in 28 markets across the US.  We are live and local in every market and can’t wait to talk to you!

Reporting to the Senior VP/Market Manager, the Marketing Director manages the Promotions Department for the Dayton Market, as well as coordinates and manages all cluster wide promotional activity, community partnerships, trades, relationships and events with the assistance of the Promotions Department.  The Marketing Director also works closely with all Program Directors, Director of Programming, Director of Sales, all Sales Managers, Controller and Accounts Payable. 

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with the dynamic ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with the ability to facilitate and manage in a highly create environment. 

We are looking for the individual who meets the minimum requirements below:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
•    A minimum of 4 years in radio or media promotions with a minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience
•    Proven experience with event planning, including experience managing contracts and insurance requirements for venue, company and client
•    Proven experience developing relationships with media outlets in television, and newspapers, including professional sports teams and establishing exclusive partnerships with significant community events and organizations
•    Experience supervising / overseeing the production of marketing commercials, print work, and other collateral materials
•    Project management experience, including the development and management of budgets
•    Excellent written and verbal communication
•    Proven experience dealing with constantly evolving deadlines in a fast paced environment
•    Must be available and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays
•    Must be reachable via phone and/or email after business hours
•    Extremely knowledgeable with all Microsoft Office programs (emphasis on Power Point, Excel and Word)
•    Experience with organic and paid social media campaigns

Preference may be given to candidates who meet the above requirements and have the following:

•    Knowledge of Promosuite, Marketron, and online CMS (Vortal or Wordpress)
•    Graphic design (Photoshop/Illustrator), photography and/or video editing (Adobe Suite) abilities desired
•    Knowledge of digital ad buying and best practices (AdWords, Bing Ads, etc)
•    Experience with mobile app management via a content management system
